Brampton Community Band has been set up by Peter Gray.

I'm a Primary School teacher and I've been running a school band for 6 years.

I've also been in a folk dance band called Prego for 15 years. We've played all over the country and I've run numerous instrument workshops at festivals and arts centres.
I mostly play clarinet and saxophone but rarely at the same time.

I remember as a young musician gaining a great deal of confidence and experience playing alongside other musicians, especially in groups that involved adults. And as an adult musician I've enjoyed working with young people in a variety of situations.

The aim is that Brampton Community Band can offer the same, positive, experiences for anyone who wants to join.

Now, after a year of weekly sessions, with people coming along on a regular basis and new people joining in, I think we've hit that target.
